Siyang Leng’s current research interests include applied mathematical theories, models, algorithms in cross-disciplinary fields such as nonlinear dynamical systems, complex networks, artificial intelligence, computational systems biology, etc., with results published in top international academic journals such as Nature Communications, PRL, PNAS, Research, Neural Networks and top international academic conferences such as IEEE CDC. He was awarded the 2019 International Consortium of Chinese Mathematicians (ICCM) Best Paper Award and the 2022 “Research” Best Paper Award. He leads/participates in several national and provincial scientific research projects, and was selected as an Excellent Young Scientist (Overseas) supported by NSFC in 2021. He serves as a mentor of Tengfei College and an editorial board member of Journal of Fudan University (Natural Science). He teaches undergraduate and graduate courses such as Elementary Mathematics in Artificial Intelligence and Applied Mathematical Methods.
