Recently, Professor Lin Wei from Research Institute of Intelligent Complex Systems has been appointed as a member of the second editorial board of the prestigious international journal "Research" (serving from March 2021 to February 2024).

Since its establishment in 1880, Research has become one of the leading journals in collaboration with renowned publications such as "Science" and "Nature". Currently, Professor Lin primarily publishes groundbreaking original research findings across various disciplines including life science, new materials, new energy, artificial intelligence, micro and nano science, environmental science, mechanical science, robotics, and advanced manufacturing. The Chief Editor for China is Huang Wei who is an Academician of the Chinese Academy of Sciences. China Association for Science and Technology approved the list of the second Editorial Board on March 31, 2021. On April 24, 2021, Huang Wei and Cui Tianhong chaired the Editorial Board work meeting in Beijing. During the meeting, new editorial board members were presented with certificates while experts deliberated on future development goals and specific measures for Research.
