On May 25, 2021, the Shanghai website of China announced the Decision of the Shanghai Municipal People's Government on Recognizing the winners (projects) of the 2020 Shanghai Science and Technology Award. In accordance with the "Regulations of Shanghai Municipality on Science and Technology Awards," following preliminary evaluation, re-evaluation, and final evaluation by expert evaluators and subsequent review and approval by the Shanghai Municipal Science and Technology Award Committee, a total of 281 individuals were selected as recipients for the 2020 Shanghai Science and Technology Awards. Notably, Professor Lin Wei's team was awarded first prize in the category of Shanghai Natural Science Award for their exceptional project titled "Research on Dynamically-driven Data Science."
