The laboratory's complex system mathematical theory team led by Professor Lin Wei consists of 8 members in total; among them are 4 Communist Party members. This team is dedicated to fulfilling its mission of "educating people for the Party and the country" through various endeavors such as teaching, scientific research, societal service, and cultural innovation. Their pragmatic approach coupled with dedication has resulted in outstanding achievements among students across multiple domains. With dynamic system theory and intelligent science serving as its core focus area for application development purposes; innovative research efforts spanning mathematics along with other disciplines have been conducted extensively—earning recognition from both domestic experts as well as international counterparts alike. To conduct pivotal research and cater to specific urban areas, with the aim of achieving 'urban digital transformation' and 'establishing smart and sustainable cities,' we endeavor to realize big data modeling, analysis, as well as complex system technology research and development. Furthermore, our efforts contribute towards fostering a knowledge-based society in China while promoting public health. This work has been recognized with the first prize in Shanghai.
