On December 3, 2021, the Shanghai Municipal Human Resources and Social Security Bureau announced the 2021 Shanghai Postdoctoral Researcher Incentive Plan to support personnel list (http://rsj.sh.gov.cn/tgsgg_17341/20211203/t0035_1404209.html). A total of 525 individuals were selected in this announcement. Zhu Qunxi, a postdoctoral researcher at the Research Institute of Intelligent Complex Systems of Fudan University, has been awarded the grant. Dr. Zhu Qunxi graduated from Fudan University's School of Mathematics and Science in June 2021 with a major in Applied Mathematics and was recognized as an Outstanding Graduate by Shanghai. Following graduation, Dr. Zhu joined the laboratory as its first postdoc under the supervision of Professor Lin Wei. His research topic focused on Deep Learning Algorithm and Application Driven by Dynamical System Mathematical Theory, aiming to develop a new explainable core algorithm framework with theoretical significance while gradually unveiling the inner workings of neural networks. As both first author and corresponding author, Dr. Zhu has presented papers at AI conferences ICLR 2021 and AAAI 2022.
Post-doctoral staff selected for participation in the Super Bo program will receive support from the Shanghai Special Fund for Promoting Talent Development according to a standard rate of ¥150,000 per person per year for a total duration of two years after evaluation. The establishment unit is required to provide matching funds not less than a ratio of 1:1 to those postdoctoral researchers who have received this funding opportunity. This ensures that Junior Principal Investigators are provided with guaranteed and improved treatment levels while further stimulating academic innovation and creativity.
